About the event
We’ll begin in the dim enclosure of Rainer Maria Rilke’s “The Panther,” where seeing becomes a kind of reckoning—and the question of how we break through our own inner cages starts to stir. From there, Brian will share a personal response in poem, then guide the room into myth with the ancient tale of the Old Woman and the Black Dog.
Between poem and story, observation and reflection, this gathering invites you to listen closely, until something shifts.
Come if you’re craving:
A moment of stillness and meaning in a loud world
Language that opens something in you (without demanding you “perform”)
A story you can carry home and live with
