About the event
Speakeasy, our monthly music and poetry evening. Musicians and poets each do a 20-25 minute set which is followed by open mic. Afterwards we mingle for conversation, connection and light refreshments. Students are welcome.
Featuring music from Brian Foster. Singer/songwriter who plays guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and vocals. His CD "Hear the Earth" showcases a variety of styles of rock, blues, reggae, and folk songs. Experience songs of life, love, nature, and spirit.
Featuring poetry from Clyde Always. Accomplished cartoonist, poet, painter, novelist and vaudevillian storyteller. His work has been featured in Light Poetry Magazine, Freaky, Jokes Review, etc. Visitors to Bay City are invited to enjoy his raucous sidewalk show: a tall tale extravaganza known as the Surreal San Francisco Walking Tour.
