Speakeasy

Speakeasy, our monthly music and poetry evening. Musicians and poets each do a 20-25 minute set which is followed by open mic. Afterwards we mingle for conversation, connection and light refreshments. Students are welcome. 

Featuring music from Singer/Songwriter, Sheridan Malone. Sheridan has been singing and playing guitar since grade school. He's also studied voice and now gives both private lesons and teaches at RiverTunes.net, a creative adult music camp. He moved to Santa Rosa over a year ago after fifty years in Ukiah, and now plays several instruments with the Taylor Mountain String Band. Check out his website at sheridanmalone.com.

Featuring poetry by Marty Le Renard. Originally from Manchester, England, Marty served as a British paratrooper seeing several deployments before transitioning to a contractor and consultant role in conflict zones across the world. Higher education, combined with personal exploration and a few psychedelics, unexpectedly transformed his worldview. Today, he pens insights from Jenner, California, alongside his fiancée, Claire, and dog Redifur.
